How to join Facebook groups and subreddits
Facebook groups
Facebook groups live at facebook.com/groups/.... Browse our Facebook group directory and open a group to see its page on Facebook.
- Sign in to Facebook and open the group link.
- Click Join group.
- Answer any membership questions and agree to the group rules if asked.
- Wait for approval. Admins of private groups review requests manually, which can take days.
Public groups let anyone see posts and members; private groups show posts only to members. Your posts and comments in a public group can be seen by anyone, so share accordingly.
Subreddits on Reddit
Communities on Reddit are called subreddits and are addressed as r/name. Our subreddit directory groups them by topic.
- Open the subreddit, for example
reddit.com/r/name. - Read the About tab or sidebar rules.
- Click Join (sign-in required) to add it to your home feed.
Public subreddits can be read and joined by anyone; restricted ones can be read by all but only approved users post; private ones require an invitation from the moderators.
Privacy tips
- Use a Reddit username that does not reveal your real name.
- On Facebook, check who can see your profile before joining large public groups.
- Be wary of members who move conversations to private messages to offer jobs, investments or deals.
Safety note: Groups listed here are run by third parties. JoinLinkHub does not own, moderate or verify them, and invite links can expire or change. Never share passwords, one-time codes or payment details with group members, and be wary of “investment”, giveaway or job offers. Read the full safety guide.
